• Email address: Required to create an account and to send you audit results and notifications.
• PDF uploads: Contractor quotes you upload for analysis.
• Payment information: We do not store or process credit card details. All payments are handled securely by our payment partner, Paddle, which collects and processes billing information directly. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made and your subscription status.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected for security and fraud prevention purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To create and manage your account.
• To process and deliver audit reports.
• To send transactional emails (audit results, payment confirmations, important account updates).
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To improve the service based on aggregated usage patterns.

4. PDF uploads and data retention

The contractor quotes (PDFs) you upload are processed by our AI to generate audit results. We retain the PDFs for up to 30 days to allow you to re-download your audit. After that, the original PDF is deleted from our systems. Audit reports and extracted data are retained for as long as your account is active so you can access your history.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share data with the following categories of recipients when necessary to provide the service:

• Payment provider (Paddle): For payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Cloud hosting (Supabase): For secure database storage, authentication, and file storage.
• Professional advisers: Legal and accounting professionals, when required by law.
• Authorities: When required to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit. All data is stored in encrypted databases with strict access controls. Our infrastructure provider maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.

8. Your rights
