How it works
Most homeowners only get 1-2 contractor quotes a decade. You don't know if "$8,500 for a tear-off" is fair, inflated, or a scam. Contractors do this every day. The information asymmetry is huge — and that's why you get overcharged.
Step 1 — You upload
Drop your contractor's PDF quote into our uploader. Tell us what kind of work it is (roofing, plumbing, electrical, kitchen renovation, etc.) and your ZIP code so we can use the right regional pricing baseline.
Step 2 — AI reads it line by line
We extract every line item — materials, labor, fees — and check each one against current market rates for your area and trade. We also look for what's missing: permit fees, written warranty, disposal, manufacturer specifications. Missing items are how contractors quietly tack on $1,000 surprises later.
We flag scam patterns too: door-to-door pricing tells, "today only" pressure clauses, unclear payment terms, and quotes that don't match the work described.
Step 3 — You get ammo
Your report includes a 0-100 fairness score, every red flag explained in plain English, and a ready-to-send negotiation email you can paste into your reply. Most homeowners save 4-20% on the final price just by asking the right questions.
What this is not
We're not a licensed contractor. We can't tell you if the structural approach is correct or if your roof needs full replacement. We can tell you if you're being charged 50% over market for materials a hardware store sells for $40. Treat us as a second opinion, not legal advice.
